How To Add Chapters To Your Story On Fanfiction
How practise you add images to your chapters on AO3??
I've tried repeatedly to use the 'insert image' tool on the rich text format and it just shows an icon with the title of the epitome in one case I save information technology -- no actual image. Is in that location another fashion of doing it?

You lot host the image somewhere - I use imgur. On imgur they give you several different "addresses" for the picture show and you have to cull the "direct link" address. I'grand not sure about other hosting sites, but the motion-picture show has to be hosted somewhere.

Seconding the to a higher place, merely you can also become the address with 'copy image address.' You get that by right-clicking on the image.

Thank you. I'll attempt that. I was using imgur but probably chose the wrong option.
Do I still utilise the rich text option to imbed the epitome, or just paste the link into the chapter? Sorry if that'southward stupid but I only desire to make sure...

Okay, merely tried it and got the same results. Once I save the chapter and go dorsum to it to check, it's just an icon with the name of the prototype on it. Boo. WTF, I wonder what I'grand doing wrong here.

Post image elsewhere and copy it into AO3 Rich Text Editor (then you can edit size and such with HTML). That works for me!
